2021 Reserve Syrah

Higher palate density and greater complexity from this hillside Reserve Syrah as compared to the regular Syrah. Deep, opaque purple color with a complex bouquet and intense palate that demands attention. This is a serious Syrah with all the hallmarks of a great wine: great palate intensity, layered complexity, and a profoundly long finish. Notes of blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry, minerality, olive tapenade, bacon fat, 5 spice powder, espresso, and dark chocolate. This wine shows a great combination of power and finesse, the firm tannins on the finish will resolve nicely over the next 6-8 years as the wine gains even more complexity.
