The wine is fabulously rich and concentrated on the palate, yet it maintains an aura of sophistication, finesse, and elegance. Rich, firm tannins and crisp acidity frame a stunning, multifaceted palate: layers of black plum, blackberry, cassis, violets, lead pencil, tar, mint, aged cigar tobacco, exotic spices, and gravel. The very long finish resonates with notes of cassis, aged cigar tobacco, exotic spices, and gravel.
